Welcome to a different kind of training. Training is based on learning through doing, supportive relationships, and learning what it takes to land a good job. With its unique “open entry” program admissions, you can start anytime you are ready – no semesters or quarters here. CET trains and connects you to a career pathway in as few as 6 to 9 months.

What makes CET different? All of CET’s programs are competency-based, meaning you master the real-world skills you need for successful job performance without needing to worry about a letter grade.  We don’t train you to pass a test. From day one, we deliver real-world job training. We treat you like you are on the job and not just a student. All our programs give you hands-on training and instruction, including Vocational English as a Second Language and other basic skills if you need the extra support.

CET has been providing job training in the El Paso community for over 20 years and works with employers directly to meet current requirements in each industry. What your future boss will expect, we will expect. We don’t just talk about helping you get the skills to get the job, every CET student receives job prep and job search support.  We work closely with hiring businesses to match job-ready students to employer needs.
